The Due Diligence Checklist

When getting to know new companies and assessing them for investment eligibility, each investor asks the questions that are important to them. While investors weigh the various elements of a company and its team differently, there are some core categories that all investors will inquire about, and which all fundraising companies should have good answers for.

We have outlined a range of topics and suggested some typical questions commonly asked by seasoned investors, viewed through a health lens. This is meant as a helpful starting point, and we hope it will be used as a tool by investors, new to early stage, and/or health investing. We encourage you to consider it as a guide, to add to or subtract from it as needed to make it your own.

An important part of assessing the investment potential of a company is looking at the company structure, and the various agreements and contracts the company has in place. Thommessen Law Firm have kindly provided a high-level overview of these considerations and the process of Legal Due Diligence, which you can find in the Legal Framework section of this site.
